Brass Tubes in unleaded and low-leaded Alloys

The most common brass alloy for the production of thin-walled tubes is CuZn37.

With a copper content of 63 - 64 % this alloy is in particular ideal for cold forming. It is very well suitable for polishing / plating and is corrosion-resistant under normal atmospheric conditions.

- A versatile material with literally unlimited properties -

Chromium gives the brass tube a particularly hard surface, brilliance and durability, whilst the copper / zinc alloy provides the basic properties itself

- strength
- resistance to fracture
- suitability for assembly
- superb forming properties
- resistance to corrosion and wear

concealed and away from the limelight. The plumbing industry is an excellent example of how brass further develops its high efficiency in conjunction with other materials.

The most common unleaded and low-leaded CuZn alloys and available dimensions are listed in our production program.
